I know who God is so I don’t have to question who I am

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well!

I want to start by wishing you all a Happy New Month! Let’s start this month of October right. Let’s continue to pray and stay in our word. Let’s continue to let God use us in the most beautiful, unique and special way this month! Amen x

I want to ask you an important question to kick off this month:

Who are you?

Outside of your career, outside of your qualifications, outside of your family, outside of any of your achievements. Who are you?

Sometimes as individuals we base who we are on the things we do or what the world says about us. But do you know who you really are? Do you know what God says about you?

God's Word in Psalm 139:14 says, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

This verse demonstrates that we are Gods beautiful creation. When we was formed he did not make any mistakes! Sometimes we look at ourselves in the mirror and we don’t like what we see, we become insecure within ourselves. However, I am here to reassure you that God made you in his perfect image and you are not a mistake! You are beautiful, amazing and wonderfully made. This is who you are!

God also says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

This verse tells us that God planted purpose in us. We have a purpose and a hope in this world. Again, we are not here by accident. There is a significant role we all play in this world. We all hold value and God says that you are cherished and hold great worth in his eyes. This is who you are!

Additionally, in Matthew 10:31, it states; “So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." This shows us that God values us greatly and encourages us not to be fearful because we are precious and treasured in his sight. This is who you are!

So any time you are questioning who you are or if anyone questions you on who you are, remember these verses! There are so many more Bible scriptures that remind us just how precious and loved we are by God our father, but these are a few that you can hold onto and remind yourself whenever you start to doubt who you are and why you are here on this earth, use these scripture as reassurance.

Stay blessed in Jesus name x
