Understanding Gods plan for this new year
Happy New Year everyone!
I pray this year will be an amazing one for you! I pray for
more success, unexpected blessings, miracles, joy, peace and love!
I understand many of you have goals you would like to achieve this year. You've possibly created a vision board, you've wrote a list down or put it in a journal. I pray that whatever you have set your mind to, you will achieve by the grace of God.
My advice to you is to trust God with all your plans but to also let him lead the way and guide you to where he wants you to be. Let his will be done in your life.
However, to truly understand his will and perfect plan for you, you must be in prayer continuously, actively reading the word and remaining close to friends or family who are actively seeking God. This will help you to stay encouraged in the Lord as you'll be supporting each other, helping one another to stay on the right path and not be led to destruction.
By doing this, his plans for you will begin to match with your hearts desires. It will come into alignment with each other. Your desires may even alter over the months of this year when you fully come into Gods alignment as you will begin to better understand your purpose and your calling.
God's plan for us is so much better than our own plans for our lives. He knew you before you was even formed in your Mother's womb. In Jeremiah 1:5 it reads; 'Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee and before thou comest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.' God knew you before you even knew yourself, he has already set out your path, you just have to trust him with it.
The definition of trust is assured reliance on the character, ability, strength or truth of someone or something: one in which confidence is place: dependence and hope. When we put our trust in God we are relying on him to make a way. We are depending on him to make our path clear.
Consequently, you must trust God even when you can't trace him. Trust him to provide, trust him to make a way out of no way, trust him to make the impossible, possible.
Sometimes, when we pray we may feel as though God is not there, he's not listening, he's abandoned us. But God is always there. He says that he will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6)
He wants us to surrender our plans to him. He wants us to put our trust in him, he wants us to have an amazing year. He has not forgotten about you! Give it to God you will not regret it and see how he moves for you all 2023.
Have
a blessed year :)
